ACTIVITIES OF SALAR JUNG MUSEUM FOR - DECEMBER 2009

I. Educational Activities

1. Temporary Exhibition
On the occasion of Salar Jung Museum Formation Day a special exhibition on “Salar Jung Museum Then and Now” was organized by the Salar Jung Museum on 16th December, 2009. This exhibition was inaugurated by H. W. Smt. B.Karthika Reddy, Hon’ble Mayor, Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation and Member, Salar Jung Museum Board.







2. Lecture:
The Salar Jung Museum in collaboration with the Historical Society of Hyderabad organized a special lecture on “A Pictorial Introduction of Ramayana, Buddhist and Colonial Sites in Sri Lanka”. The lecture was delivered by Dr.V.V.Krishna Sastry and Smt. Anuradha Reddy on 12th December, 2009.

Formation Day:
On the occasion of Museum Formation Day H W Smt. B. Karthika Reddy, Hon’ble Mayor, Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation and Member, Salar Jung Museum Board inaugurated the celebrations on 16th December, 2009.
