ACTIVITIES OF SALAR JUNG MUSEUM FOR - JULY 2010

I. Educational Activities

1. Temporary Exhibitions

(i) A special exhibition on “V.V.Bhagiradhi (1901-1949) The Great Landscape Artist of India” was inaugurated by Prof. A. Bhoomaiah, Vice Chancellor, Potti Sreeramulu Telugu University on 21st July, 2010. The exhibition consist the collections from artist’s family members, Salar Jung museum, Telugu University, Vizag Municipal Corporation museum (Vizag), Damerla Rama Rao Art Gallery (Rajahmundry) and Z.P. Boys High School, Anaparty.

2. Lecture

(i) Salar Jung Museum in association with Historical Society of India has organized a lecture with power point presentation on “Scientific and Philosophical Mystery of Bharatiya Life Style” on 10th July, 2010. Shri.Mataji Bhuvneshwari delivered a special lecture.
