ACTIVITIES OF SALAR JUNG MUSEUM FOR - MARCH 2010

I. Educational Activities

1. Temporary Exhibitions

(1) Salar Jung Museum and British Council has organized an “Art Camp For School Children” on 6th March, 2010. This camp was inaugurated by Dr.K.Geetha, Principal & Director, Jawaharlal Nehru University for Architecture & Fine Arts.

 

(2) A special photo exhibition on “Connecting” was organized by the Salar Jung Museum, Victoria and Albert Museum, London and British Council on 18th March’ 2010.

 

 

 

2. Lecture

Salar Jung Museum and Historical Society of India has organized a film show on “Rise and Fall of Vijayanagara Empire” which was screened on 13th March, 2010.



3. Art Appreciation Talk & Panel Discussion

As part of the Academic activities of International Exhibition “Indian Life and Landscape by Western Artists” the Salar Jung Museum and British Council has organized “Art Appreciation Talk & Panel Discussion” on 5th March, 2010 which was inaugurated by Dr.S. Chellappa, IAS., Secretary to the Govt. of A.P. (YATC).
